The Martin-Collins Ecotrack all weather arena at Dallas Burston Polo Club in Warwickshire is 140m by 70m (2.4 acres) and has over 30 LandS Eventing portable cross country fences (from 70-100 cm in height) with eight show jumping fences that will be adjusted for you to the hight you require.

Classes and Fees:

Exclusive use 50 minute hire slots for up to 4 horse/rider combinations.
£40 for first horse and £10 for each additional horse (plus £1.50 booking fee).
2.4 acres of Martin Collins Ecotrack surface (140m by 70m).
Over 30 portable cross country jumps from 70cm – 1m with eight show jumps.

Arena will be staffed, so show jumps jumps can be adjusted as well as the arena poo-picked for you.

Important Information

Venue Hire Terms & Conditions Liability

Working with, accompanying and riding horses is a potentially dangerous pursuit. All those who wish to ride their horses/ponies at the Venue do so entirely at their own risk.

Neither Lands Eventing Limited (the “Organiser”), nor Dallas Burston Polo Club (the “Venue”), nor any person acting on their behalf accept any liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or any other persons or property whatsoever.

All vehicles are left entirely at your own risk.

Save for the death or personal injury caused by negligence the Venue does not accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to riders, horses, ponies, owners, spectators, property, vehicles and their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or any other way whatsoever.

It is a condition of riding that riders and their parents (if the rider is under 18) and accompanying personnel have inspected the conditions and facilities prior to riding and that they are content that the ground conditions, and the construction and maintenance of the facilities and jumps are safe and acceptable to them. The venue is not responsible for the ground conditions or damage caused to the ground or fences caused by other users and animals.

All horses/ponies attending the Venue should be insured in respect of third party liability and recommend injury, veterinary fees and death cover. It is also recommended that all riders hold personal accident insurance.

Instructors, teachers, trainers, coaches or any person responsible for a rider must hold public liability insurance for no less than £2,000,000 (two million pounds).

Any person bringing a groom, rider or paid assistance onto the premises must hold appropriate employers liability insurance.

The Venue is not responsible for the provision of a First Aid person or first aid equipment. The Rider (or any group organiser, trainer or responsible adult) agrees to ensure their own provision for First Aid.

Booking

When booking, the bookee is agreeing to these Terms & Conditions for all the riders that they are booking for the facility hire. He/she must ensure that riders have read, understand and agree with these Terms & Conditions.

Children must be over the age of 12 and horses/ponies aged 5 and over. All riders must be accompanied by one responsible adult who must keep a mobile phone with them in order to call for assistance in the event of an emergency and first aid knowledge is advisable.

Cancellation & Refunds

The Organiser reserves the right to cancel any bookings in the event of poor weather and/or ground conditions and any unforeseen circumstances. Riders will be informed by email, text or telephone if a booking has to be cancelled. If the Organiser has to cancel a booking, the hire fee will be refunded less the Stripe payment fee and the booking fee, which are not refundable in any circumstances.

The Organiser and Venue reserves the right to refuse any admission. They cannot be held responsible for any consequential loss or liability howsoever caused

Bookings cancelled by the bookee more than 72 hours in advance will be refunded less the Stripe payment fee and the booking fee.

Protective Equipment

Riders must wear protective equipment as required under British Eventing rules (section 7.15.1of the 2020 BE Rule Book), including, but not limited to:

  • Protective Headwear (no fixed peak riding hats to be worn on the cross country); and
  • Body Protector (on the cross country); and
  • Riding Boots.Horses must wear appropriate tack, including a saddle and bridle.

    Failure to wear the correct safety equipment may result in the rider being ejected from the facility.

    On The Day

    Please arrive in time to tack up and start & finish on time for your booked time slot.

    Please park sensibly, allowing a respectful distance between vehicles.

    Riders should not attempt any feat that is beyond their level of skill, experience or knowledge.

    The Organiser and Venue reserves the right to ask you to leave should reckless riding or teaching or abuse of horses be seen and no refund will be given.

    All riders and spectators must behave responsibly and not cause a nuisance to other attendees. Riders should ensure that consideration and due care is given to other attendees when riding on the flat and over jumps, and in the parking area. Users must thoroughly poo pick after using the facilities, tools and skips are provided.

    All signage is should be adhered to and all gates closed after passing through.

    Dogs are permitted if kept on a short lead at all times and under direct control. All dog mess must be cleared up immediately. Any dog that barks at horses or people and causes a nuisance must be removed immediately from the Venue.

    Please clear up after your horse and remove any droppings or spilt hay from, the parking area. Please take your litter home.

    Damage to fences must be reported, you will not be charged.

Flags must be replaced when knocked out.

Do not jump a flagged obstacle in the wrong direction.

Do not jump a fence with crossed flags.

The Venue complies with current legal smoking policies and in addition no smoking is permitted in the toilets or stable yard areas.
